Indian Rummy - Rules, Tips and Playing Guide
A draw-and-discard game built around valid sequences and sets.
Indian Rummy Rules
Indian Rummy is commonly played with 13 cards. Players draw and discard while arranging their hand into valid sequences and sets.
Pure and Impure Sequences
A valid declaration normally requires at least one pure sequence. An impure sequence can use a joker for a missing card.
How to Play
- Draw one card.
- Arrange useful cards into sequences and sets.
- Discard one card and declare only after the hand is valid.
Responsible Play
Practise first, understand the scoring and set firm time and spending limits.
